Event: Archeo Logical Camera by Mohamed A

Sea A Boiling Vessel Chapter 2 opens with Archaeological Camera, which showcases photographer Mohamad A’s documentation of Kerala’s archaeological landscapes. The exhibition repositions the archaeological photograph as an artefact, a record, and a narrative in itself.

The exhibition showcases images of excavations and the excavated, taking us on a real, yet mysterious journey into Kerala’s prehistoric past. 

It is the story of how we came to be what we are, told through archaeological sites, architecture, implements, and artefacts. They bring into vision sediments and remnants of the great voyages of yore, and also human engagements with life and imaginations about the afterlife.

Opening: December 6, 2025 at 5:00 PM , at Kara Art Gallery, Fort Kochi. Runs through February 24, 2026.​
