Amphibian Aesthetics
13 December 2025 to 31 March 2026

Amphibian Aesthetics marks the inaugural exhibition of the Ishara House at Kashi Hallegua House, Jew Town, Kochi, in Ishara Art Foundation.

Amphibian Aesthetics brings together artists and collectives who play with the emerging precarities of our planet, suggesting multiple modes of being. The exhibition explores the aspects of amphibian as an artful way of mediating migrations and exile, memory and history, traditions and identities across time and space.

Aazhi Archives returns with Chapter 2 of Sea A Boiling Vessel, a four-month cultural season exploring memory, migration, and the sea as a living archive. This edition also launches Amphibian Aesthetics, a collaboration with Ishara Art Foundation that brings human and non-human histories into dialogue across water and land.

Together, these projects extend our long-term inquiry into oceanic worlds, fragile ecologies, and the stories that surface when we read the sea as history.
